Location: Elizabeth, CO. ~6500 ft., Mag 5.5 skies
Telescope: 16" f/4.9 Newtonian, Pegasus Optics primary
Mount: Mathis Intsruments MI-500
Exposure: Total 4.5 sec on ST-10XME
Corrector: 3" Keller/Wynne coma corrector
Seeing: ~2.5"
Comments: Thirty 0.15 sec subexposures taken. Orion variable polarizing filter, set to almost opaque, used to drastically cut down on the moon's brightness. First ten subs framed to create a "left" image, second ten to create a "right" image, last ten to create a "top" image. Each set of ten averaged after registration of subs in Registar, which was also used to register the three mosaic frames. 16-bit sharpening in Corel's PhotoPaint 12. Three-frame final mosaic assembled in PP 12
